  5. This archive contains report about ENLiGHT'95 demo party
  6. (August 19-20, 1995, St.-Petersburg, RUSSIA).

  8. Party was organized by Realm Of Illusion & K° and sponsored by
  9. LANCK (hardware), Russian Shaping Federation (premise, hardware)
  10. and RCOM Company Ltd. (online Internet).

  12. All works, which were submitted on competitions (demos/intros/music/
  13. graphics), you can download from ftp.olly.ru://Enlight95

  19. Minimum requirements: 386, VGA, DOS, ~550K base + EMS/XMS.
  20. It is recommended QEMM, but it is possible to run report without it
  21. (only HIMEM).
  22. If you own slow VGA (non-VLB/PCI) - better choose mixing rate less
  23. than the program recommends.

  26. ! DO NOT RUN THE REPORT UNDER MULTITASKING OPERATING SYSTEMS !
  27. !        LIKE OS/2, WINDOWS, WINDOWS95, DESQVIEW, ETC.       !
  28. !    This way proper work of the report is NOT GUARANTEED.   !

  31. Following sound cards are supported: GUS, Sound Blaster,
  32. Pro Audio Spectrum, Windows Sound System.
  33.                                                                               
  34. At occurrence of problems with 16bit-DMA at SB16 try to use 8bit-DMA
  35. (for example, in a question about DMA instead of 5 choose 1).

  37. Whole text is present in two variants - Russian and English. You will
  38. be prompted about it at start.

  40. ENLiGHT'95 report can be freely distributed without any restrictions
  41. under condition of keeping of archive integrity.
